Salman Khan Upcoming Next Movies 2010 - Dabang Be Positive Mogambo in Mr. India Sequel

Salman Khan News 2010:-

(1) Salman Khan is back with a raging vengeance determined to repeat the Wanted magic in Dabang Movie. The Theatrical trailer of Dabang will be showcased with Bollywood Upcoming Movies 2010 Khatta Meetha on July 23rd. Salman Khan has never been presented like this before.

As per Latest Bollywood Samachar, Hot Sonakshi Sinha appears briefly in the first look promo and leaves an impact with a smart Filmi dialogue on the vagaries of love. Dabang releases this Eid.

(2) Salman Khan Wanted Sequel is on hold. Producer Boney Kapoor is believed to be not keen in making another action flick with Hot Bollywood Hunks Salman Khan as because he is already booked for the production of ‘No Entry 2’ and has his commitments to other makers also.

As per Latest Bollywood Gupshup, Salman is already set to work in two films by Boney Kapoor - Be Positive and Mr. India 2. Be Positive is a No Entry sequel and will have Salman Khan doing comedy with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan again. Salman Khan will turn a villain (Mogambo) in Mr. India sequel. He will also do a lot of stunts in the film.

(3) As per Salman Khan Brother Producer Arbaaz Khan Interviews, he said that, "Salman is a very experienced superstar. This happens to be his brother's production, which makes it a 'ghar ki baat'. He is the star of the film. I considered every suggestion from Salman to be like words written in gold and we incorporated them accordingly. I don't think Salman has contributed more from behind-the-camera to any of his films. Earlier in some of his films he tried to make suggestions which were unfortunately not taken well. In Dabang, we welcomed Salman Khan’s inputs warmly. He has added considerably to the film's overall mood and feeling, especially in the action scenes"

Bebo’s size zero inspires writers

The Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor has inspired renowned writer Shobhaa De to write a book on Bebo’s size zero figure. One actually wonders, How Kareena Kapoor eats healthy and yet stays size zero?

Buzz that is doing the rounds in B-town is that the writer Shobhaa De is planning a book on similar lines to Victoria Beckham’s fashion advice guide book ‘Extra Half’.

On hearing this, Kareena, was more than pleased.

“I would absolutely value anything she does. However, I’m unable to say anything at this point,” says Kareena about the book to a daily.

However, not only Shobhaa but the actress’s dietician Rujuta Diwekar too has been inspired by Kareena’s figure. She is planning her second book and Kareena will be her role model. The dietician’s first book was recently launched and is selling like hot cakes. So, she doesn’t mind coming up with a book sequel.

Well, I’m sure Bebo will be honoured.

Lamhaa – Promises to tell you the unbiased story

Rahul Dholakia’s Lamhaa provides us a sneak into the Kashmiri issue without taking sides. Once known as a paradise on earth, it is now a playground for blood thirsty militants. The film stars, Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher.

The movie attempts to bring out the untold story of Kashmir. It also happened that the cast and crew of the film, faced protests while shooting in Kashmir. In fact, Bipasha actually got freaked out regarding her security that she left the shoot halfway and returned to Mumbai. But now that the film is complete and ready to release, hopes are high that Lamhaa will strike a chord among audiences and, in its little way, help promote peace in the valley without trivializing the Kashmir issue.

The film is set to release on 16th July 2010

Bollywood stars at the World Cup finals

MUMBAI - While Bollywood actors like Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have already reached Johannesburg to watch the World Cup final between Netherlands and Spain, some football lovers from the industry had to give the match a miss.

Anil Kapoor had almost cancelled his plans.

Sighed Anil, “Some work had come up. It looked like I wouldn’t be able to go to Johannesburg, though I had packed and booked seats at the stadium. But, I finally did make it. I am the brand ambassador and this is the biggest sports event,” said Anil as he left for South Africa.

Another football enthusiast, Dino Morea, too seemed unsure of making it to Johannesburg. “I’m in London, all set to go. But my air ticket is not confirmed, if it doesn’t happen, then I’ll just have to watch it on television,” he said.

The model turned actor is a huge football fan. “I play football and I love watching the sport. I was supporting Italy as I am half-Italian. Now, I’m supporting Spain because they have never won the Cup,” he added.

The football fever has never been more pronounced in Bollywood.

Sanjay Dutt left his pregnant wife in Mumbai for the finals. He will be in South Africa with his two non-filmy best-friends.

“I wouldn’t miss the World Cup for the world. I’m the hugest football fan. I place it above cricket in my scheme of joy. I watched the silliest of games in the Cup. For the finals, I had to be here (in Johannesburg),” said the actor.

Dutt is rooting for Spain all the way. So is Jackky Bhagnani, producer Vashu Bhagnani’s son has apparently secured some of the best seats in the stadium for himself and his five friends from Mumbai.

Speaking from Johannesburg, Jackky exulted, “Man, I’ve the best view possible! I could never afford these seats, they are among the best in the stadium. An industrialist friend from Russia got me these seats. I can’t begin to express my excitement, I feel like an eight-year-old who has got his favourite toy. Me and my friends have our t-shirts, caps and flags ready. We’re rooting for Spain.”

Adding to Jackky’s excitement is the fact that this is the first FIFA World Cup match he’s attending.

Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have already tweeted about their presence in Johannesburg for the finals. However, Shah Rukh’s best friend, director Karan Johar will not be able to attend the match.

Other football lovers from Bollywood who had to miss the event are actors Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, who are shooting in Colombo and Delhi, respectively.

Latest Space Shuttle News: Crew to Complete Transfers from Leonardo

At 12:21 a.m. EDT Mission Control awakened the STS-131 crew with the song "The Earth in the Color of Lapis Lazuli" by Seiko Matsuda for Naoko Yamazaki, who served as the loadmaster, supervising the unloading and loading activities for this mission.

No Fourth Spacewalk Needed; Crews to Finish Unloading Leonardo

Space shuttle Discovery’s seven-member STS-131 crew will begin their day by unloading the last transfer items in the Leonardo Multi-Purpose Logistics Module and then closing the hatches between it and the Harmony node in preparation for its return to the shuttle’s payload bay.

Overnight International Space Station and Space Shuttle mission managers agreed there is no need for a fourth spacewalk to replace the nitrogen tank assembly that has a jammed valve. Station ground teams have determined the station can operate for an extended period of time in the current configuration. The team is continuing to troubleshoot the stuck valve and is looking at options for future replacement of the nitrogen tank assembly should that be necessary.

The stuck valve is in a nitrogen tank assembly needed to pressurize a new ammonia tank installed on the station during this mission’s three spacewalks. It keeps ammonia circulating through radiators that dissipate the heat generated by the station’s electronic systems.

Ground teams were concerned a high beta angle would cause the ammonia in the new tank assembly to expand and exceed the capacity of the radiators without the nitrogen to keep the system circulating. The beta angle – the angle between the sun and the plane of the orbit – is increasing, creating higher temperatures.

At 8:41 a.m. EDT, Mission Specialists Naoko Yamazaki and Stephanie Wilson will use the station’s robotic arm to move Leonardo back into the shuttle’s cargo bay. This is the seventh time Leonardo has carried supplies and equipment to the station. The next time it returns with the STS-133 crew in September it will remain berthed to the station.

Talking about Emraan, the actress said, “Working with Emraan has been great as he has worked with so many new actresses and he is very patient. He has no hang- ups and doesn’t behave like a star. It is high time people start accepting him as an actor and not just a serial kisser.”

Praising Hashmi, Prachi added, “I don’t look at Emraan as a monster; and definitely not after this film. He has given so many hits, but all people talk about are his kissing scenes. He gets the best songs and I’m lucky I got one such song (Pee loon) with him.”

Prachi in the film plays a Muslim girl called Mumtaz who is conservative, poised and honest.

The movie is based on the life of two Mumbai dons and their ups and down in the underworld. The film that also features Ajay Devgan and Kangana Ranaut is all set to hit the theatres on July 30.

Snubbing the whole idea of having a size zero figure, Hema said: “There’s no need (for a size zero figure). I was not a size zero. You must have a flat stomach – not a pot belly – and a nice and beautiful face – at least a tolerable face – and you can be an actress.”

Dressed in a pale yellow, elegant sari, the 60-year-old actress was at her forthright best when asked about her future projects.

“I’ve signed one or two (films) which are held up because of the financial problems in the whole world. Otherwise I would have finished those two and they would have released by now.”

“One is with Nana Patekar which Deepa Sahi is directing, and the other is with another producer. It is not right to expose everything about a film,” she said.

Director Farah Khan confirmed the new stating, “Katrina is going to do an item song in ‘Tees Maar Khan. I’m going to keep a belly dancer teacher for her. She is actually going to learn belly dancing. So, you will see her in a new very glamorous avatar.”

She adds, “I’ve had a very good experience working with her. She is very ambitious.”

Well, many such hidden surprises will soon be revealed. The movie is set to hit the theaters on the 25th of December this year.

Srinagar: People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti refused to budge from her decision to stay away from the all-party meet called by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

Addressing the press on Sunday, the PDP president explained that she thanked the Prime Minister and the Home Minister for their calls and it was painful for her to tell the Prime Minister that she couldn't attend the meet because the state government was doing nothing on the ground.

Appealing to the Prime Minister to end the crackdown on civilians, she continued to blame the Omar Abdullah government for letting things deteriorate so far.

Earlier on Sunday, the Prime Minister spoke to the PDP leader urging her to attend the all-party meeting to be held on Monday.

Asked about whether he could have handled the crisis differently, the CM said while he was open to criticism, much of the criticism coming his way was subjective. However Omar said that in the end the responsibility was his saying that he would have to rebuild things brick by brick.

On Saturday, Omar wrote to PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and called her up as well, but Mufti had rejected his request to attend the meeting on Monday. (Read: PDP turns down Omar's request)

Mehbooba Mufti had maintained that the meeting was being called after all important decisions like calling the Army into Srinagar had been taken.

"Omar has admitted having lost credibility, let him re-establish it. Our position on all-party meeting remains unchanged," a PDP spokesperson said on Saturday.

Meanwhile, officially curfew has been lifted in most areas of Kashmir. However, curfew like restrictions continue in downtown Srinagar, Sopore, Baramulla and Pulwama.
